Four steps from job to invoice
The whole flow takes under a minute - no typing required.
Step 1
Tap and hold to record
Open the new invoice screen and hold the "Voice invoice" button. Say the job out loud - client name, what you did, how many hours or items, and any notes.
Step 2
AI drafts the invoice
Invio sends the recording to AI, which picks out the client, line items, quantities, rates, and GST treatment from what you said. The whole thing takes a few seconds.
Step 3
You review - always
The draft appears for you to check before anything is saved or sent. Edit any field, adjust line items, change the GST treatment - confirm only when you are happy.
Step 4
Send from the review screen
Once you confirm, the invoice is created and ready to send. One tap to email it to the client. The classic typed form is always there if you prefer it.

Speech straight to structured data
Your audio goes to Google's Gemini AI on Vertex AI, which turns what you said into structured invoice data in one step - no clunky transcription middle-man, no separate "interpret" pass.
Prices and clients come from your account
The AI matches against your saved clients and catalogue items. Rates are pulled from your own data - the AI never invents a price or a recipient.
Invio double-checks everything server-side
Before the draft reaches you, Invio's server re-validates every client ID, item, and number against your real data. A mis-hear can be corrected at review - it can never be silently sent.
You always confirm before anything goes out
The AI produces a draft. You check it. The invoice is only created when you tap confirm - the AI has no ability to send on its own.
Invio does not store your voice recordings - they are used to create the draft, then discarded. Google does not use your audio to train its AI models (Vertex AI enterprise terms). Read our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Voice invoices per plan
Every plan includes voice-to-invoice. The allowance scales with your plan - only a successful, non-empty draft uses one.
- A use is logged only when Invio successfully drafts an invoice - at least one line item or a matched client.
- Mistaps, empty recordings, network errors, and AI failures do not count.
- The allowance resets at the start of each calendar month (NZT).
- The classic typed form is always available - voice is an optional shortcut, never a requirement.
